Úhošť national nature reserve
The Úhošť national nature reserve or table mountain is located at the edge of the Doupovske mountains, through which the natural trail leads. It is 114.5 ha in area and is situated between the
villages of Brodce and Pokutice on the right bank of the Ohře River. This reserve was established in 1974 in order to protect the significant geological structure of the table mountain. There are forest and steppe communities on the slopes. As many as 1,000 plant species from the 3,000
recorded in the Czech Republic are found in the mentioned locality. A red marked tourist trail leads along the edge of the national natural reserve from Pokutice to Rašovice in parallel with the natural trail.
